COURSE DESCRIPTION

High quality education is the leading principle of the American Venous Forum. This course will provide clinicians a unique educational opportunity beyond a basic introduction to venous disease. State-of-the-art lectures by leaders in venous disease are complemented by case-based workshops, live case demonstrations with audience participation and video presentations. The workshops will focus on:

  • Pharmaco Mechanical Thrombolysis / Angioplasty and Stenting / IVUS

TARGET AUDIENCE

The Vein Forum is for clinicians in the fields of vascular surgery, interventional radiology, phlebology, interventional cardiology, hematology, vascular medicine, surgery, family practice, and cardiology.


 

COURSE DIRECTOR

Patrick Muck  MD. of TriHealth Heart Institute in Ohio, attended University of Notre Dame and the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He is Board Certified in both General and Vascular Surgery. Dr Muck has been speaker, moderator, or course director for many national and international meetings, including, the American Venous Forum. He participates in the training of residents, fellows and attending physicians across the country.  He specializes in minimally invasive treatment of all types of problems of the circulatory system.
